• Conducted research on educational policy for charter schools, governance, common core, and accountability, utilizing online databases Google, Urban Institute, and NCSL.

• Wrote several blog post for Gadfly on topics ranging from charter schools and choice, social mobility and the governance of these initiatives.

• Provided email correspondence with clients, monitoring and updating contracts using Asana software.

• Designed and executed a program to foster communication between at-risk youth and police officers in the community. The grassroots program was implemented twice a week and is currently still in use by the SCOAG.  

• Assisted Director of Special Projects and the Richland County Sheriff's Department's in Cal Ripken's Badges for Baseball program for at-risk elementary children.

• Conducted research and presented a legislative proposal on policies addressing education and criminal justice reforms with a focus on the corridor of shame (the neglect of S.C. rural schools) and sentencing reform.
